Sydney, Australia.

After New Zealand, we traveled on to Sydney. Unfortunately, I got pretty ill from all of the airplanes and airports (which are gross, to further emphasize); likely the time change, weather change and jetlag as well. The first weekend, I was only able to hit the Circular Quay boardwalk to see the Opera House and the Sydney Harbor Bridge before I needed to return to my room for some rest.

I was originally supposed to go to Melbourne the following weekend, but decided it’d be best to just avoid any other airports and two additional flights, and just stay in Sydney for the weekend. I was very happy with that decision. I walked the coastal walk from Coogee Beach to Bondi Beach. The walk is estimated to take about one hour, but I just strolled leisurely, taking in all of the scenery and enjoying the perfect weather. It had gotten to like 72 F that weekend (keeping in mind, it was winter there in August). It took me about 4 hours, and I loved every minute of it! See these views! My favorite viewpoint was near Bronte Beach, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with any stop.

The following weekend, I went to Darling Harbor before visiting the Wild Life Sydney Zoo and Sea Life Sydney Aquarium. I couldn’t leave Australia without seeing kangaroos or koala bears! A fully complete trip – it was AUS-ome. 🙂 When I go back to Aus, I’ve got to hit some other cities! I know there is a lot more to see.
