Europe back-to-back. This time, our site is in Hamburg. We flew directly there, into HAM. Unfortunately, we did not see much of this city due to work, but it’s the second-largest city in Germany, and we had really good dinners. I hope to be able to explore it more in the future.
We spent the weekend in Berlin and stayed at the Moxy. When we checked in, they gave us a free drink and had live music in the lobby, so we knew this city was a winner. We went to the Berlin Wall, East Side Gallery, Brandeburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, and Topography of Terror. It was a very educational trip. All the things I had learned in school and forgot were taught in a much better way by visiting and feeling much closer to the effects, as well as the museums and tour guides. There was a light show that captivated us like children for several hours.
All photos taken (in Berlin) with Nikon D5100.
