Piraeus and Athens, Greece.

When I thought of Greece, I thought of porcelain sculptures without arms, ancient ruins, bomb salads and gyros. No parts of me was disappointed upon my trip! One thing I did not expect was the jaw-dropping beauty. This place left me in awe. It’s a place you can’t fully appreciate from pictures, because they just look like awesome pictures, but while you’re in it, it’s unbelievable.

We stayed in an airbnb in Piraeus with very friendly and accommodating hosts. We traveled by Uber, though the public transportation system seemed very adequate. We visited all of the ruins, ate like royalty, and even checked out the nightlife. We took ferries for a day trip to neighboring islands to ride bikes and visit the beaches. It was an unforgettable trip. When I go back, I will need to also visit Santorini.

Most photos taken with Nikon D5100. Those with me in them were taken with Apple iPhone 7.
