Eurotrip! Here it was, nearing 4th quarter of 2016, nine international trips in, and I had never been to Europe. A friend of mine had been saying she wanted to go to Amsterdam for her birthday, and I thought it seemed like a pretty cool place to go. It seemed pretty hipster and easy to acclimate to, so it was a great first stop on the Eurotrip. During this trip, we also went to Paris, France and London, England. A couple flights and a few trains, and it was totally manageable.

Amsterdam had really cool museums, plenty of bikes and bikers, and really cozy places to eat. Its city center reminded me a lot of what I’d seen in Chile, and after this visit, I could connect a heavy European influence on Chile. Amsterdam is certainly a city I’d visit more than once – I have to try a canal tour next time.
