Flight deals! You’ve got to love them. One unsuspecting day after work, word had gotten around within my friend group that there was a flight deal from Chicago, and other US cities, to Medellín, Colombia: roundtrip $400. Because of my taking a chance on the UAE flight glitch, I was pretty confident that I had the flight deal game down pat. It also appeared it would be another epic group of young professionals, so I didn’t think very long on this decision.
Because of our trip in Dubai, we knew we had to get another yacht – no question. This was the one time during the trip that the entire 100-something group of people got together, and it was flawless. Plenty of liquor, good music, and great vibes. Other smaller-group activities included parapenting from the side of a mountain, bobbing around in an 80-foot-deep inactive volcano filled with mud/clay, with unbelievable buoyancy, that has been used for healing and cleansing purposes for centuries, and hitting the club scene. One of my favorite aspects is that, you needed to know Spanish to get around. It challenged my 45% fluency, and brought out the soul survivor in me. This trip has definitely been the top two group trips to date, and I am so thankful for those who planned all of the activities.
